Jammin' and Knitting'

Once a month we celebrate God the creator by exercising our own gifts of creativity. Our musicians hang out and "jam" while everyone else enjoys the music and does their own creative projects - or just hangs out with a great group of folks. No need to sit at home lonely on Friday night - join your friends at Table of Grace for some casual, laid back fun!

Musicians - bring your instruments! No matter your skill level, you are welcome to make a joyful noise with us. We love to learn new music and enjoy both secular and Christian music. And on those evenings when noone really wants to play - we always enjoy recorded music too!

Everyone is welcome - whether you knit or (k)not! If you'd like to learn, we can teach you basic knitting or crochet. If you are working on a project - bring it along. If you'd like to just enjoy some friendship - come and hang out with us!

We are currently working on making scarves and laprobes to be donated through the Region's Women's Ministries. We also make Prayer Shawls and have donated crafts through other organizations.

If you are just starting out - buy a skein (ball) of yarn of your choice and either knitting needles (suggest 11 or 13) or a crochet hook (suggest J or K) and join us for your first lesson.

This group is a great opportunity to build friendships, get a little "time away" from all the other demands on your life, and to create something special for someone in need.
